VENUE OPEN FOR LUNCH AND DINNER 7 DAYS A WEEK!

WELCOME TO THE MUNDARING HOTEL

A piece of history in this beautiful nook of The Perth Hills.

The Mundaring Hotel was established in 1899 by John Frank and Harold Hummerston.

Jacoby Street, on which the hotel resides, was the main street in Mundaring at this time. The two-storey hotel was positioned prominently in the heart of Mundaring and as a result became the social centre for the district and somewhat of a landmark in the town. The Hotel held everything from sporting club lunches, to wine and fruit growing contests, and hosted the local masonic lodge and progress committee.

As well as being the local hub, the new hotel was designed to attract the tourist trade – “For an ideal holiday resort and park”. Back then, Mundaring was considered a healthy retreat from Perth and the goldfields, with guests being attracted to its proximity to the natural bush setting.

In 1997 the Mundaring Hotel was categorised as having exceptional significance on the Shire of Mundaring municipal inventory and in 2016 was listed on Western Australia’s Heritage Register for the contribution made by the place to Western Australia’s cultural heritage.

The recently refurbished Mundaring Hotel boasts a family-friendly restaurant, a unique alfresco patio dining room, lounge bar and cosy beer garden. The newly renovated kitchen delivers an extensive menu offering delicious traditional Australian pub food plus unique daily special dishes.

A perfect pit-stop for anyone wishing to explore the local area on foot, by bike or horseback, with the famous Bibbulmun

Track being close by, as well as numerous activities available on our doorstep including Lake Leschenaultia, The Mundaring Weir Dam and the gorgeous John Forrest National Park where you can check out the local wildlife and scenic waterfalls. Once you’ve had enough of exploring the local area, pop in to see us and grab a tasty bite to eat and a refreshing drink before setting on your way again.

Open 7 days a week, offering lunch & dinner with an A La Carte Menu, Kids Menu, Seniors Menu, Function Menu for larger groups, Weekly Specials and live music both Friday night & Saturday nights.

For those wanting to bring their fur babies, dogs are most welcome in the beer garden but must be kept on a lead at all times.
